With the dawn of the 2014/2015 AFP World Tour upon us, it's time for an update on the AFP World Tour Rankings.
The first of 12 Platinum-ranked events took place this past weekend, as the first of three U.S. Grand Prix events rolled into Copper Mountain, Colorado with a Halfpipe-only event. Here's a look at how it shook up the rankings going into this coming weekend's Dew Tour.

On the men's side of things, David Wise has overtaken the top spot from Kevin Rolland on the Halfpipe Rankings after his win at the Grand Prix, while second place finisher Torin Yater-Wallace has jumped 28 spots up into 31st after an injury-plagued season last year. In third was Benoit Valentin, who has moved from 9th to 8th, while Alex Ferreira has bumped himself up one spot as well into 5th after taking fourth.
Ayana Onozuka (3rd), Janina Kuzma (1st), Devin Logan (2nd). Photo courtesy of U.S. Freeskiing
Amongst the ladies, Janina Kuzma is up five spots, from 16th to 11th, after her big win at the Grand Prix, while Devin Logan and Ayana Onozuka have each jumped two spots up (from 8th to 6th and 6th to 4th, respectively) after scoring second and third.
On the Overall Rankings, the only significant changes to report are Torin Yater-Wallace ascending from 59th to 30th after his second place performance at the Grand Prix, and Keri Herman making some moves from 15th to 6th after finishing twelfth.
That's all for now from the AFP World Tour, but be sure to stay tuned for what's sure to be a massive rankings update next week following the second Platinum-ranked event of the season, the Dew Tour, which kicks off this Thursday in Breckenridge, Colorado.
