AFP Awards Dinner & Party Recap

Dec 23, 2016

On the eve of Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado, the Association of Freeskiing Professionals hosted the annual AFP World Tour Champions Awards Dinner & Party, which saw some of the world’s top competitive freeskiers come together to celebrate each other’s achievements last season.

Held at the Breckenridge Brewery & Pub, the evening was presented by the good people at Pisten Bully and Snow Park Technologies, and in conjunction with the High Fives Foundation and Sarah Burke Foundation, with the event doubling as a fundraiser for their causes.

Throughout the evening, the newly-designed AFP Awards trophies, which are based off of the Sarah Burke snowflake, were handed out to the 2016 AFP World Champions and AFP Junior Champions, who were announced in April on afpworldtour.com (click here for a recap of the winners).
